Show and Tell Friday

It's Show and Tell time! Head over to Kelli's and check out what others have shared!

My show and tell for this week is some old books I bought at an antique mall today.
They are:
Treasure Island - It doesn't have a copyright but someone wrote in it "Christmas 1947" so i'm guessing the copyright is somewhere around that date.
The Secret of hte Golden Pavilion A Nancy Drew Mystery-Copyrighted in 1959
Trixie Belden and the Red Trailer Mystery - Copyrighted in 1950
Trixie Belden and the Mysterious Visitor - Copyrighted in 1954
and
The Bobbsey Twins in the Land of Cotton - Copyrighted in 1942

Can't wait to start reading them!
Jami
P.S Forgot to say that the Nancy Drew, the Bobbsey Twins and Treasure Island books were $5 and the Trixie Belden books were $3 (each). :-D Quite a deal to be old!

I love old books. Those look like they'll be fun to read...LOL There are only a couple of them that were copyrighted before I was born. I'm as old as most of your books!

Wow! You found one of the Nancy Drew books that I am missing from my collection :)
Wonder how much you paid for it? I have seen some that are very high priced. Great collection you bought!

You did get a great deal for 5 bucks. That is so neat that those same two titles have different stories. I never knew that and will have to see if I can find both copies. I have a duplicate of the Secret of the Old Clock but I see you already have that one. I also have the Clue in the Jewel box that has the gray cover(not the yellow). I read every one when I was a child and also the Hardy Boys. I guess I should try to complete my old set too :)

Hi Jamie! Thank you for coming by my HSB blog! :) Also thank you for the complements. I'm glad you like it! I like your blog background. Is that the one you'r going to stick with? LOL, I don't think I have ever met anyone who had a hard time picking a background template. :) Do you know yet if you still have that skirt anywhere? Thanks again for coming by!
